CLEMSON WEEKEND 2005

The Upper SC Seminole Club in conjunction with Greenville Events and the Clemson Young Alumni Club invite you to join us for a block party on Main Street in front of the Hyatt (rain or shine) from 5pm to 10pm.  There will be live music, the FSU Cheerleaders, Special Guest Speakers, grilled food, children's rides, raffle items and plenty of cold beverages.

Charter Buses:  We have made special arrangements to allow you to park on one of the nearby streets. [map]

Raffle tickets will be on sale $2 each or three for $5.

Let's paint the town Garnet and show those TIGERS how we support our school!!

The Greenville Conventions and Visitor's Bureau has created a nice website of area attractions: [more].  There are many restaurants, bars, coffee houses, etc... along Main Street.  For something unique, make your way down Main street to the Reedy River Park - the world's largest pedestrian suspension bridge allows you to view the waterfall.  If you are looking to play pool or shoot darts -- Corner Pocket, Barley's Upstairs, and Connolly's are probably your best bets.  For dancing or live music, Wild Wings, Tiki Bob's, Blu Martini and Club 221 normally have entertainment scheduled on the weekends.  Some businesses may call themselves private or require a membership -- This requirement is normally waived if you are an out of town guest that can show them a hotel key.

Link has published an upstate bar guide -- see if your favorite local bar is listed: Bar Guide

For the over 21 set, here is a suggested event from Brewtopia: pub crawl
